Webstandards.TO meeting; Netscape goes quietly
The next Webstandards.TO is meeting tonight. I probably won’t be making it, but you should — this month it’s at the Duke of York.
Two-and-half years ago I wrote about the first big release of a Netscape browser in two-and-half years. In that five-year period the Netscape browser (nor Mozilla) has gone from a contender to an inconsequential memory: it’s death registered exactly eight messages on the three big Web design lists I belong to. A recent discussion on the validity of spaces in filenames generated that on just one of those lists.
