The whole thing is unfathomable. I can't even wrap my head around the scale of attack against the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, the United States.

There is nothing in my experience I can equate this to. For the U.S., this cannot even compare to the infamous Pearl Harbor attack — the world was in a state of war and the targets were military not civilian.

My deepest hope is that we all consider our next actions gravely and rationally.
