With the dearth of original, Canadian content online, I have to remind myself to go to Shift.com more—after all, I’m now receiving its email newsletters.

This month the site has attracted some attention for itself, what with a big link from MediaNews (there's even a Plastic.com discussion inspired by an good, DFW-style (i.e., footnoted) column about camgirls).

Shift has had its ups-and-downs over the past years, but if they can keep up the current momentum (maybe with the help of a Plastic–like discussion board) it won’t be long before I add this to my regular readings.

In other CanCon news, Buzz.ca is moving closer to its relaunch.
